Originally from Scarsdale, NY, Lindsay attended William and Mary for undergrad and subsequently graduated from Georgetown for medical school. After completing her intern year at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL, she started residency at Loyola University. Lindsay and Srini were co-residents. She finished her time at Loyola being the Chief Resident. Following residency, Lindsay was the uveitis fellow at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston, MA. She currently lives and practices in Southern California.
Srini had to take a full week off of work in order to prepare for the boards - and he had just started his new job. He had also moved into his new home the week prior. His life was in disarray and the added stress and lost revenue of being away from work and his family was unnecessary.
Lindsay had just returned from a year in Africa doing mission work. She was also expecting her first child. With jet lag, her mind was 12 hours behind. Spending a week away from home to prepare for the exam was not ideal.
We both felt that the large group style preparation was not useful or time efficient. We needed a focused method that did not take away from our busy lives. That’s how Eye to Eye was born.
